The two sides are sometimes called Old Darby and New Darby. You will find many of the same names in both sides of the cemetery, evidence that roots in this part of the county run deep and are well established. It was called Sagar Graveyard at one time. The east side is much older and it is just to the west of the Unionville Center United Methodist Church. This same side is also still receiving remains. The west side is newer and has the Darby Township Cemetery sign (shown above) displayed. There are two distinct sections to this cemetery the east and west sides are divided by Sagar Creek.
